Diego and Tina Barr

Diego and Tina Barr attended UCF and graduated together in 1988. Tina taught university students while completing her PhD in IE at Georgia Tech, followed by a career teaching math to middle and high school students. Diego received a JD from Florida State. He advised and trained managers for 30 years as an employment lawyer in Atlanta, but his soul came alive when teaching kids apologetics on weekends. They have five adult children and three grandchildren. They miss their family greatly, but God has blessed them with new extended family in Guatemala.

God called them to move to Guatemala to serve Jesus full-time in 2021. The ministry Ágape: Amor en Acción is the culmination of maximizing the gifts God has given them with the needs they have witnessed while living with the people of Guatemala.
